Company History

July, 1917 Established as a company which produces and sells Marufuku koji starters by Togano's soy sause fast brewing method.
December, 1938 Acquired Ibaraki Joban Jyouzou.
1961 Started production of koji starters for sake.
1968 Abandoned the Sugamo Plant (koji starters) and moved to Juocho in Ibaraki Prefecture.
Built NJK building in the site of Sugamo Plant, and leased it to Seiyu Stores and Korakuen.
1974 Built a clean room in Juo Plant and successfully commercialized sterile
koji startersFully relocated Koishikawa Soy Sauce Plant to Kawajiri Plant (Ibaraki Prefecture).
July, 1975 Built a new office building at 3-18-9 Koishikawa, Bunkyo-Ku, Tokyo.
1984 Built a multi-story car park (capacity: 180 cars) at 3-26-3 Koishikawa, Bunkyo-Ku, Tokyo.
August, 2000 Built high-performance automatic control air conditioners, air showers, etc. in Juo Plant.
July, 2001 Built a new office building which serves as an apartment (residential houses) at 3-18-9 Koishikawa, Bunkyo-Ku, Tokyo.
